Jessica and Sean’s Manor House Wedding in Littleton, Colorado was absolute perfection! We had a threat of rain, but thankfully it held off and allowed these two to have an outdoor ceremony as planned! Good thing because they love the view of Denver in the background of this gorgeous ceremony site. I love the Manor House wedding venue, and they have recently added on a reception building that is so beautiful! Let’s just say I was thrilled to see it in action with this wedding! I can’t get enough of the wooden beams and chandeliers, and all the white!

So I met Jessica and Sean before the wedding, and we had a lovely time getting to know each other over delicious Panera Bread treats. I knew they had something special and that their wedding was going to be incredible. From the amazing venue, to Jessica’s insane dress, to the fabulous flower decor and gold touches of decor. It came together so beautifully, and you could feel all the love!

Sean’s family is Turkish, and they surprised everyone by dancing to a Turkish song at the reception. It was a blast, and everyone was involved and loving it! Laura and Scott are such a sweet couple, and I am so thankful to know them! We have mutual friends, and I was therefore thrilled when recommended to photograph their Spruce Mountain Ranch wedding! Spruce Mountain is a gorgeous venue in Larkspur, Colorado offering stunning mountain views and fields with many many cows. Yes please! It’s perfectly rustic with it’s incredibly massive  barn for the reception events.

Scott and Laura’s ceremony was scheduled to be held outdoors in the field. However, minutes before the ceremony was going to start, the rain started to come down. It was getting harder and harder, and we had just decided to send everyone indoors and wait it out, when the heavens opened! It started pouring rain, and even hailing! Everyone bolted to the barn, and we waited for the rain to stop, but it just wasn’t letting up. All the guests had great attitudes, and helped rearrange things to have the ceremony inside. It was not the first choice of location for the ceremony, but in the end Scott and Laura were just happy to be getting married! After all, that’s the main mission for this whole wedding day thing, right?! It was a beautiful ceremony, and everyone could feel the love!

Due to the crazy storm, some fog rolled in afterwards and as a result, we were able to get some amazingly epic foggy bride and groom photos! Let’s just say I was in photographer’s heaven! It was absolutely incredible, and rather worth the storm I’d say 😉 We got to have all of their dancing outdoors on the patio, and the rest of the evening was perfect! Ok so, small world here! I”ll give you the backstory really quick. I grew up in Georgia, and went to school for photography at the University of Georgia in Athens. My last year there, I was a waitress at a delightful pub called Trappeze. Jeremy, the groom here, was the manager. 8 years later I am out here living in Colorado, and Jeremy finds me on instagram. He was living out in Colorado as well, and was in fact engaged! He and Megan were having a Vail Golf Club wedding, and they wanted me to be their photographer! I was thrilled, and couldn’t believe that they found me all these years later!

Their wedding day was perfection. We began the day with a first look and bridal party photos at Betty Ford Alpine Gardens in Vail. This little beauty is tucked away and is such a treasure! It was green with amazing bright flowers, and everything we wanted for portraits. Megan and Jeremy had the sweetest first look, and Megan had me crying talking about how happy she was to have finally found her special person after all these years.

From the gardens, we made our way over to the Vail Golf Club for the ceremony. Jeremy and Megan had their Vail Golf Club wedding ceremony at Wedding Island. The stunning Gore Range was the perfect backdrop. You will see in the photos that it is so beautiful, it almost looks fake! That is Colorado for ya! Their ceremony was filled with so much love and joy, it really was contagious. I am so happy that Jeremy and Megan found each other!
