One of my favorite parts about my job is all the incredible people I get the privilege of meeting. As a wedding photographer you get a glimpse into your clients’ lives. You get to see them surrounded by all their favorite people in the world. And you get to hear what their loved ones treasure the most about them. It’s just really special and it’s an honor. Melissa and Kurt are such a wonderful example of this privilege. They came all the way from Florida to have a Sapphire Point Elopement in beautiful Colorado.

First of all, Melissa just exudes kindness. She is like a radiant beam of light who just makes everyone feel welcomed. And Kurt is kind, funny and sensitive. Their first look is one of the most emotional ones I’ve yet to see. Kurt was just overwhelmed by Melissa’s beauty. It was so special to witness. Their maid of honor and best man only had incredible things to say about their character as well during the toasts. Pretty sure the whole room was crying at one point!

So to say their Sapphire Point Elopement was amazing, is an understatement! They had their wedding in September and the weather was a dream. As a Colorado mountain wedding photographer, I have to say this area around Lake Dillon is one of my favorites to photograph! I’m so glad Melissa and Kurt chose it for their stunning Colorado elopement.
