Lisa and Peter had their wedding on a beautiful day in September. They are locals and decided on a Boulder Colorado elopement in the gorgeous Boulder Canyon area called Betasso Preserve. It was just the two of them, their adorable son Bodhi and their parents.
They wanted an intimate wedding ceremony. I love when people choose to elope or have an intimate ceremony. It allows you to focus on the two for you, your love and commitment to each other! It also eliminates any potential family drama or other things that could cause stress with a bigger wedding.
But ultimately I believe everyone needs to do what feels right for them!
Boulder Colorado Elopement
I chose a beautiful spot for the ceremony in the middle of the field. The mountains were the backdrop, and it was so quiet and peaceful. Little Bodhi wanted to be held during the ceremony and wasn’t quite sure what was happening! But he is so adorable and did great all things considered.
After the ceremony we spent time taking some beautiful portraits. Then Lisa and Peter cut the cake and enjoyed some champagne with their sweet family.
