Stephen and Leandrea are two of the most kind hearted, sincere people. They found each other through a dating app and I believe the world is better because of it! You may recall their sweet engagement session from last summer at Glen Eyrie Castle!

These two live in Colorado Springs, but Leandrea is from Georgia (like me!) So they had been planning a beautiful Spring Lake Events wedding in Rockmart Georgia with their most cherished friends and family. Now, one thing you may not anticipate during your wedding planning is the possibility of it happening during a global pandemic! News of the coronavirus came as a shock to all, especially all of the sweet couples like Stephen and Leandrea who’s wedding it majorly affected. As the wedding was getting closer and closer, the state governors started cracking down and creating number bans on social gatherings.

Spring Lake Events Wedding

About a week out, Stephen and Leandrea made the call to cancel the original wedding. They moved it up a couple days and chose to only have family present. They were crushed to not have friends and extended family there to celebrate. But they wanted to do their part in protecting people from being exposed to the coronavirus. I wasn’t able to fly out to Georgia due to all these crazy circumstances. But thankfully my local second shooter Liliana was able to step in and shoot the wedding as an associate shooter for my company! She did an incredible job!

Leandrea and Stephen, I know you didn’t exactly plan for your wedding to pan out this way at all! But I know you two took it in stride, and were thrilled to finally be married to each other. Your positive attitudes throughout this wild and stressful situation were not surprising, but admirable nonetheless. And I’m glad I still got to be a part of it through the editing!
