These two lovebirds are extra dear to my heart! Mimi just so happens to be my husband’s sister! So technically WE are sisters now, which is awesome. Mimi and Calen moved from Denver to Omaha about the same time Chris and I moved out to Colorado. Lucky for us they recently moved back to Denver, and I was able to do an engagement shoot for them in Omaha to commemorate their time there. The first location they chose was where they first met, at a friend’s backyard wedding. And then we found an awesome corn field on the side of the road which we thought had Nebraska written all over it. We got confronted on our way out by a woman who claimed that “if her granddaddy had caught us out in his field he would’ve come after us with his shotgun.” Thank God we avoided that part of the Nebraska experience! I hope you guys enjoy these, and I can’t wait for Mimi and Calen’s wedding in June!
