Wow, what a way to kick off my 2019 wedding season! Lauren and Ansel are incredible people with an adorable love story. Their wedding day was filled with so much love and joy. I truly walked away afterwards feeling so refreshed and grateful for my job. I can’t believe I get to experience this glimpse into my couples’ lives, it is such an honor. Ansel and Lauren reached out to me upon searching for a Boettcher Mansion wedding photographer. And I can’t be more thankful that they chose me!

Lauren and Ansel met in high school. They didn’t know each other well before doing a YWAM trip together, but let’s just say Lauren didn’t have the greatest perception of Ansel. She found out they were paired together early on and she thought he was “annoying” and was not stoked about it! Let’s just say she came back from that trip with a different opinion of Ansel! She now founds him irresistibly funny, kind, loving, charming. And I can say I witnessed Ansel making Lauren laugh all day long on their wedding day!

What I love most about being a Boettcher Mansion wedding photographer is the incredible views surrounding this venue! It sits at the top of Lookout Mountain in beautiful Golden, Colorado. There is a stunning overlook right across the street from Boettcher,  and I love taking my couples over there for portraits! I was hoping for snow with this winter Colorado wedding in January. It was perfect because the day itself was a nice temperature, and there was snow on the ground! It was an absolutely stunning day.
