Let’s talk about Sammi and Conlin and this epic engagement sesh real quick. These two are high school sweethearts. Who doesn’t love high school sweethearts?! They’re always the sweetest! Sammi told me they wanted mountains and trees for their shoot, and when we settled on a Loveland Pass engagement session, I was thrilled! I knew it was going to be absolutely perfect for them, and I think I was right. 🙂
We began in a little foresty area that looks like it’s from another country! The moss on the ground added such an interesting element! It was chilly, but these were snuggling a lot to stay warm. We moved on to the mountaintop and it was quite frigid up there. Extremely windy too! I was so excited to see Sammi’s dress that she changed into for this part of the session. It flowed so perfectly! Sammi was such a trooper braving the cold for an epic outcome. That’s my kinda bride right there!

Make sure you love how you feel in them, and how they look together! I have stressed myself out multiple times when I waited until the last minute to pick out my outfit to attend a wedding for example. In my head, it’s going to look great. And then I hate how it looks when I put it on, then start scrambling for something that looks halfway decent. Next thing I know we’re running late, I’m stressed and in a bad mood! This all could have been avoided if I had taken a few minutes to try on the outfit ahead of time. So organize your outfits at least a couple weeks in advance, feel confident, and avoid potential stress! (And feel free to ask my opinion, I am more than happy to help!
